Brentwood is a lovely, affluent residential neighborhood bordered by Pacific Palisades to the west and Bel-Air/Beverly Hills to the east. Homes and yards are beautifully maintained and range from opulent, north of San Vicente, to luxury condos and modest homes, closer to Wilshire. The quiet, clean and safe character speaks to the pride young professionals and families take in their neighborhood. The area also has great access to some of the best shopping and dining in LA, ideal for taking time to stroll and meet neighbors. San Vicente, one of the most beautiful thoroughfares in the city, is more than the main traffic artery. Situated beneath a canopy of coral trees (the official tree of Los Angeles), it has a wide green median and a well-maintained bike path, used by bikers, joggers, and walkers, that leads all the way to the beach. This lush and verdant boulevard is also the location for the popular Brentwood Art Show twice a year.

Just to the north, Mandeville Canyon offers a variety of outdoor activities. Founded in the 1920s as a botanical research garden for UCLA, it offers hiking and horseback riding in a rural atmosphere minutes away from the city. The prestigious, beautiful and private Brentwood Country Club offers tennis, golf, and elegant venues for social gatherings. The Brentwood Recreational Center is widely used for a variety of sports, clubs, and art.
